Hong Kong is international business district. So of cause it equips many restaurant to capture all kind of people about the world! Honestly, there is nothing really can represent HK, but if you want me to mention, I would say seafood. HK has a strong reputation for its seafood. There are several seafood district provided a wide range of restaurants for tourist to choose from.
Today we go to Sai Kung Seafood street to search for some seafood for our dinner tonight! The photo shows the gateway of the street.
Here is one of the seafood shop in the Seafood Street. All seafood is well 'take care' in containers for customers to choose from. The most important thing is, all seafood are alive. Unlike Australia, we can only choose dead seafood from shops. You will know the differences between them after you tried this meal.
The shop manager is catching the prawn for us!!! He will weight and price them instantly.
Here is the meal. We have stream fish, abalone, fried prawns, fish soup... Very very delicious! Unforgettable. The fish market in Australia is not bad too. :D
I heard that HK has some tasty snack and dessert. We followed the instruction and went to MongKok for food. Luckily, we found something cool!
First, we have our first pineapple buns. It is crispy for its surface but not actually have pineapple in it. I wonder how people get the name from :P But It is really tasty. I heard that the local people will like to add a butter inside when they service it. Just like we use it for out bread.
These two are 'must try' items. The curry fish ball is far too spicy for me and the other one is called egg waffle ball. The waffle ball is crispy on the outside, soft and moist in inside.
This one is Durian cream pancake. It is bought from a famous dessert store in hk. So Yummy!
