Journey in Taiwan!

Since it was already evening when we arrived our hotel, we decided to visit the night market first. And of course it gotta be Shilin Night Market! Each night markets having it's own traditional and characteristics. Shilin Night market is located along Dadong Rd., Danan Rd., Wenlin Rd., and Jihe Rd.

First thing that caught our eyes when we entered the night market, a lady selling the hot-star fried chicken!It's too large a portion to try to eat it all yourself. Share with someone. Keep some room for other snacks!

After that, we saw a sausage stall.Taiwanese sausages are really good, crunchy and full of flavours. This stall sells the famous "Small Sausage Wrapped in a Big Sausage". It is actually a normal sausage wrapped in a bigger sausage made of glutinous rice. It was very impressive.

There were many stalls selling  Oyster Omelette so we don't know which stall we should try. Since Big Head Dragon was featured in many Taiwanese shows as depicted at their stall front, we chose them. Oyster omelette is one of the most famous street food in Tai Wan.

Smoothies and bubble tea stall.

Besides food stalls and restaurants, there are plenty of shops, interesting bars and much more. Accessories, trendy dresses and all sorts of adorable knick-knacks could be purchased for a very cheap price! 

                                       

After dinner, we went back to hotel and rest for awhile before heading to Miramar Entertainment Park. It is a shopping mall in the Dazhi area in Zhongshan District of  Taipei. The Taipei rapid transit system has a station (Jiannan road station) next to the department store. On the roof of Miramar Entertainment Park is a 70-metre tall Ferris wheel second tallest in Taiwan.
